At our E-Auction 10 – Banknotes

Published by RDA on

When showing items from the upcoming event, it is impossible to forget about the zloty currency … In the banknotes section, one of the most outstanding items is the two zloty from 1919. Extremely rare banknote in such good condition, visually no flaws, except for a water spot at the left margin and a visible break in the lower left corner and a deflection at the top.

The longitudinal deflections at the margins can also be mentioned as a minus.

The paper is clean, with a visible gloss, with no traces of conservation manipulation.

Definitely one of the most beautiful “two zlotys” offered on the auction market.

Recommended for advanced and demanding collections.

Another great banknote, offered for the first time in a note above PMG 60 (this one is PMG 64!), is a 5 zloty single-digit series by Ryszard Kleczewski, with a watermark – an image of Sigismund I the Old in an unprinted field.

The banknotes were put into circulation on September 15, 1940, were printed in Budapest, and the issuer was the Bank of Poland.

The auction will also include 1 zloty 1919 with an almost issue condition, deep colors and pleasant appearance, with a minus for the incomplete vertical and horizontal deflection noticeable and visible in parallel light. The corners are sharp and well preserved.

What else will you be able to obtain for your collections?

100 zlotys 1919, 20 groszy 1924, 1 grosz 1924 right half, 10 groszy 1924, 1 zloty 1938, 20 zlotys 1931, 50 groszy 1924 or 5 groszy 1924 left half.

You will be able to bid on these and other great items from May 22 on the Onebid website. We invite you to register in the auction in advance and to add items to your favorites, so that they do not miss when the auction starts!
