At our Auction 16 – Catalog and the Malbork trojak coins of Sigismund III Vasa

A dozen or so weeks ago, the first specialized catalog dedicated to the Malbork trojak coins of Sigismund III Vasa was published on the numismatic publishing market. The author of the catalog is Marcin Sawaniewicz and we had the honor of being the publisher of this publication.

The item was very well received on the numismatic market and, what is worth emphasizing, with the release of this publication, an increase in collector’s interest in these trojak coins is clearly noticeable on the market. This is a completely normal course of events, because the publication of a specialized numismatic catalog on a given topic automatically results in an increase in interest and stimulation of the collector’s market in the coins cataloged there.

During the September auction, we offered a large collection of Malbork trojak coins from the collection of the author of the catalogue. Many of them were illustrated.

For the January auction, we have also prepared some really great trojak coins from Malbork, including some illustrated in the above-mentioned catalogue.
