At our Auction 12 – Thaler of the Duchy of Warsaw from 1811

A beautiful thaler of the Duchy of Warsaw from 1811. A nicely preserved piece with perfectly preserved details and a nice gloss. A piece with very delicate background imperfections, but in the case of this issue it is not uncommon and in the overall visual perception of this piece it is not glaring. The coin will be up for auction during the April auction.

The coin was minted in three years (1811, 1812 and 1814) in Warsaw on discs with a diameter of 38 mm and a weight of 22.8 grams. Interestingly and quite characteristic, the rims had a decoration in the form of a delicate ornament.
