At our Auction 12 – Kalisz denarius of Casimir III the Great with a characteristic head of a bull

Published by RDA on

Below is something for lovers and true connoisseurs of medieval coinage. Kalisz denarius of Casimir III the Great with a characteristic head of a bull. In Kopicki’s catalog it has a rarity of R8. Although the specimen is slightly unfinished, the rarity fully compensates for this. A coin practically unheard of in the trade, known from single specimens from museum collections and a few objects on the private market.

The coin will be offered during the April auction of our auction house. As a reminder, we are still accepting items for this auction – coins, medals, banknotes, phaleristics. We invite you to contact us and cooperate.
