Vacation time is a time of rest, but contrary to appearances, it can also be an opportunity to reflect. In the era of ubiquitous digitization, probably none of you thinks about how to preserve memories, we take a mobile phone, a compact camera, or maybe a fancy SLR camera, tick and it’s ready – each of our journeys can be recorded even with a thousand photos. Probably few people remember that a few decades ago it was not so simple We had to manage somehow, as we know, human memory is unreliable, it was worth supporting it with the available resources, and there was nothing simpler and more effective than a postcard. In our upcoming auction, we have a very large collection of postcards from the early 20th century, depicting a multitude of destinations and different themes, in other words, a very large selection. Not to mention original postcard boxes that have something original about them.
