At our Auction 8 – Beautiful 1913 ruble

Published by RDA on

The coin for today is the 1913 ruble, minted on the occasion of 300 years of the reign of the Romanov dynasty. It was a dynasty during which many things happened. Today, only a few dozen people remain this year, most of whom live outside Russia anyway.

The coin was minted with shallow and deep stamps. The specimen from our auction was deep stamped and preserved to this day in a beautiful, mint condition with a high mark in NGC MS63.

Obverse: Empire’s eagle, above it the inscription РУБЛЬ, below the dates 1613-1913.

Reverse: busts of Michael of Russia and Nicholas II of Russia 3/4 facing right along a double edge.

Rim: ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 4 ЗОЛОТНИКА 21 ДОЛЯ (В.С)
