At our Auction 12 – The most beautiful, in our opinion, Toruń ort from 1662

Published by RDA on

It is really hard to look for such an excellent Toruń ort. The most beautiful, in our opinion, Toruń ort from 1662, offered on the auction market over the last 20 years. The highest NGC grade given so far – moreover, it is the only piece so highly graded (NGC MS65).

A variation with a new spelling of ET.SVE instead of &.SVE in the king’s title and the correct name of the city THORVNENSIS.

A narrower royal portrait, with a coat fastened with a small knot.

A selected piece, with sharp relief and mint brilliance. A huge rarity in such excellent condition. The coin will certainly be part of the stationary part of our April auction.
