At our Auction 12 – Saxon thaler of Fryderyk from 1816 minted in Dresden
With a quick glance, we could say that it is a thaler of the Duchy of Warsaw (1807-1815), because many compositional similarities can be seen. Portrait of the same ruler – Frederick August I and a slightly similar reverse side with the coat of arms. In fact, it is a beautiful Saxon thaler of Frederick from 1816 minted in Dresden. Perfectly preserved details that successfully compensate for minimal background staleness. Beautiful coin.
